Note: M-Utilities are included with M-Pack 1 so you do not need to purchase them separately if you purchase M-Pack 1.

A collection of useful MATLAB "utility" functions including the following:

• a "winuigetfolder" function (folder version of uigetfile)
  
  
• an open browser function (for
  opening the default web browser with a given URL)
  
  

• a hard-disk size query function

• a range of window manipulation functions such as icon changer, window enable/disable, window show/hide, window-on-top, and window close (for non-MATLAB windows)

All the functions are compatible with the MATLAB Compiler, and can be used in standalone applications for distribution (royalty-free).

Although the free demo version has various limitations on most functions, the demo window manipulation functions (e.g. the icon-changer) are fully-functional (when used inside MATLAB) but they are p-coded and therefore can not be compiled into standalone applications using the MATLAB Compiler.
