2.2-- ReSampling multiple files |

|
It is straightforward to prepare and convert multiple files (i.e. as a "batch" job). From the original startup menu, press the " Select folder for ReSampling", or from the ReSample Project Manager window, use the "Input file selector" panel (located on the upper-left-hand-side of the screen) to select additional files (via the "Another folder" and/or "Another file" buttons). Using the latter choice, and continuing from the previous example, the following screen appears:

Figure 4 ReSample project configuration window showing the consequences of selecting an input folder (rather than a single file) . The "Input file selector" panel (upper-left) displays the contents of the selected folder (in this example, "M:\TestWAVfiles"). All valid files are automatically added to the project. Aditionally, any file(s) may be auditioned (using the "Play"/"Stop" buttons) and added manually to the project (via the "Add to project" button). The "Info" button opens the "Input file overviewer" which displays detailed information about each selected candidate file (see section 3.10).
Each new file added to the project will be automatically configured with the default conversion settings. These settings can be changed for one or more files simultaneously by selecting the task(s) in the Project Manager panel, and adjusting the settings via the "Selected task(s) output settings panel" (all selected tasks will simultaneously adopt the chosen settings). Also, at any time, the default settings can be re-applied to the selected task(s) by pressing the "Apply defaults" button. Likewise, a given set of custom settings may be adopted as the default settings for future additions by pressing the "Set as defaults" button.
Once all the tasks have been configured as desired, the batch resample project can be initiated by pressing the "Start..." button. By default, all tasks in the Project Manager list will be processed one after the other. However, by selecting the "Process selected task(s)" checkbox rather than the default "Process all task(s)" checkbox, only those tasks selected (using the mouse) in the Project Manager list will be processed.
