3.11-- Manipulating the ReSample task list |

|
Various buttons are provided for manipulating the ReSample task list. These have no effect whatsoever on the WAV files themselves: they only affect the make-up of the impending batch job. In general, to enable these buttons you must first select one or more tasks in the Project Manager panel. The usual mouse-based protocols prevail when selecting (e.g. shift-clicking, ctrl-clicking, click-and-dragging etc). To de-select all tasks, click the right-mouse-button anywhere in the Project Manager panel.
The functionality of the various buttons is summarized as follows:
3.11.1--- The "Remove" button

Removes any currently-selected tasks from the project (the "delete" key performs the same function).
3.11.2--- The "Select all" button

Selects all tasks in the project (a convenient shortcut to clicking-and-dragging).
3.11.3--- The "Remove all" button

Removes all tasks from the project (including unselected tasks).
3.11.4--- The "Sort" button

Sorts the tasks alphabetically based on the input filename. Repeated entries - i.e. tasks with identical filenames/locations and identical conversion settings - will be removed.
(Note that the repeated-entry removal procedure is also carried out automatically each time the "Start..." button is pressed - so there is no need to use the "Sort" button for the purpose of "cleaning up the job" before commencing the run. Only use the "Sort" button when alphabetic ordering is explicitly desired).
3.11.5--- The "Play Input", "Play Output" and "Stop" buttons

The "Play..." buttons enable the input and output files of the selected task to be played backed. Of course, the output file can only be played once it has been created (i.e. after the conversion has been performed) - otherwise the "Play Output" button will be disabled. The "Stop" buttons stops the playback.
