4.1-- Why can I not add my WAV file to the project ?

If the WAV file under question does not conform to the supported formats i.e. integer-storage WAV_FORMAT_PCM or WAV_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE (PCM only), or if the file header is incomplete, it cannot be added to the project.
