ChaoticMusicalSequence2

Description
Chaotic Musical Sequence (2) Illustrates the use of the "Chaotic Control Generator 2" to create amplitude and frequency frequency input signals for the Controllable Combo Oscillator. The result is a sequence of tones which follows the behaviour of Henon's chaotic strange attractor at the core of the "Chaotic Control Generator 2" block. The time histories of the two states of the Henon strange attractor are the outputs of the "Chaotic Control Generator 2" block. These are mapped into the frequency and amplitude of the controllable oscillator. The "Control Smoothers" are used to soften the frequency and amplitude transitions, and the "Large Control Gains" are used to scale the control signals onto the desired frequency and amplitude ranges. Experiment with all settings of all blocks to explore the chaotic behaviour of the strange attractor and its interesting musical connotations!
