Live Guitar Extreme Variable Delay
Demonstrates the use of WaveWarp's live input functionality and modular sample-by-sample architecture. Plug an electric
guitar (or any other audio source!) into the "input" of your soundcard and hit "Play". You will experience the bizarre effects
achievable using a variable delay. This is an extreme case of a time-varying delay . The core of the effect is the Controllable
Variable Delay block which implements the time-varying delay. This block has, in addition to the audio input, a control
input (red) which is driven by a modulating control oscillator (the Combo Control Generator block). In this example, the
Combo Control Generator block generates a sinusoidal envelope which modulates the delay length. Alternatively, you may
specify any arbitrary desired envelope by creating a simple text file and importing it via the "Load from File" dialog.
Experiment with all settings and with different input sources and effect combinations!
