Audio noise gate built from basic elements, with downsampling.
This DrawingBoard is the same as "NoiseGateBuiltFromScratch.dwb", except that the main control signal chain (i.e. the
sequence of red components) is running at a reduced sample rate (by a factor of 4, achieved using the down- and up-
samplers ). This leads to almost 10% reduction in CPU usage, with no audible consequences. (See
"NoiseGateBuiltFromScratch.dwb" for a detailed explanation of the noise-gate algorithm.)
