| "Boost" slider |
Sets the gain ("Total boost") of the overdrive amplifier. The gain
is equal to the slider value multiplied
by the "Max value" range selection. |

Sets the upper clipping threshold applied to the amplified signal.
Any signal amplitude which exceeds this threshold
will be clipped to the threshold value.

| "Lower" slider |
Sets the lower clipping threshold applied to the amplified signal.
Any signal amplitude below this threshold
will be clipped to the threshold value. |
| "Symmetric clipping" checkbox |
If selected (the most common scenario), the lower threshold is forced to equal the
negative of the upper threshold, so that the clipping is symmetric
about the zero level.
| "Clip to +/- 1" checkbox |
If selected, the threshold sliders are overridden and the audio is clipped
to within +/- 1.
