Speedo Drums by Spectral Pitch Shifting
Illustrates the use of the "Spectral Shift 2" block for perfoming multiplicative spectral shifting. The underlying algorithm is
based on the FFT for converting to the frequency domain, shifting all frequency bins by the desired relative amount, then
transforming back to the time domain. A wide range of effects can be achieved with this technique. Try experimenting with
all sliders to explore the various possibilities. With the default settings, the drum track ("drums.wav") adopts a bizarre
pitch and tempo (enhanced by the echoes caused by the double-overlapped buffers integral to the "Spectral Shift 2"
block).
