Conventional panning mixer for
re-distributing the input signal to
a selected location in the stereo field,
according to the settings in the Parameter Window,
as summarised in the following table.
For stereo and double mono input signals,
separate panning controls are provided for
each input channel.
Parameter
Purpose
"Pan" slider
Adjusts the panning for the given input signal.
A value of 0 ("Right") routes the signal exclusively to the right output channel,
and a value of 1 ("Left"), exclusively to the left.
An intermediate value distributes the
signal into the stereo field, in linear proportion to the slider value.
"Gain" slider
Adjusts the amplitude of the given input signal, before the panning is applied.
