1.2-- Installation instructions |

|
The WaveWarp 2.0.4 distribution consists of a single executable 'installer' file appropriate to the edition of the product which you have purchased, i.e. the basic edition (no MATLAB functionality) or the WaveWarp Audio Toolbox for MATLAB. In the following instructions, the generic filename ww<my_version>.exe is used to represent the actual filename of your particular installer.
Important notes:
1. Before you install WaveWarp, make sure that you first transfer the downloaded file ww<my_version>.exe on to the computer on which you wish to use WaveWarp (if this is different from the computer with which you downloaded the software from the internet). For each purchased license, you are eligible to register WaveWarp on multiple computers though you are only eligible to use the software on one computer at a time.
2. If you have a previous version of WaveWarp on your computer (e.g. version 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2, or 2.0.3, or a beta or demo version), then you are strongly advised to run the respective Uninstallers to remove them before attempting to install this version. Failure to uninstall previous versions may lead to conflicts and problems with the current version.
Having transferred the file ww<my_version>.exe to the computer on which you wish to install and register the software, carry out the following steps:
1. From Windows Explorer, double-click on the file ww<my_version>.exe. This will activate the installer (alternatively you can use the "run" command from the Windows taskbar, and "browse" to select ww<my_version>.exe).
2. Follow the on-screen instructions. You will require the Unlocking Code listed on your invoice in order to proceed with the installation. The installer will unpack the WaveWarp program files, place them into a designated WaveWarp root directory (of your choice) on a hard-drive (of your choice), and modify the Windows registry as required.
That's it ! WaveWarp is now ready for use.
