2.9-- Saving a DrawingBoard |

|
In order to save the configuration of components and the settings of all parameters on a DrawingBoard, you can choose "Save" or "Save As" under the "File" menu as shown in Figure 6.

Equivalently, you may use the utility buttons as shown in Figure 7.

According to the usual Windows conventions, "Save" will write into the existing filename for the DrawingBoard (use with caution!), and "Save As" will prompt you for a name for the saved DrawingBoard. This latter command is useful for making a copy of an existing DrawingBoard to be used as a starting point for modifications. For example, try selecting "Save As" when "Welcome.dwb" is active. Choose a new name (e.g. "myfirst.dwb"). This will create a new DrawingBoard called "myfirst.dwb" with the same component configuration as "Welcome.dwb" but with the parameters set to the values they have when the "Save As" is executed (which may be different than for the original "Welcome.dwb" if any sliders have been moved since opening "Welcome.dwb").
Important note: all the "save" functionality of WaveWarp is disabled in the demo version. You must purchase a registered version to be able to "save" DrawingBoards.
