2.16-- Adjusting the position of one or multiple components |

|
To adjust the position of any component on the DrawingBoard, click-and-drag it using the left mouse button. Multiple components can be dragged together (by first "lassoing" them with the left mouse button or selecting them in succession by holding down the "Ctrl" key when clicking). Connection cables included in the "lasso" will also be moved.
Each component can be individually aligned to an "invisible" grid by selecting "Align to grid" under the "Edit" menu (or, equivalently, by selecting "Align to grid" from the menu which automatically appears by right-clicking on the component on the DrawingBoard). All components can be simultaneously aligned by selecting "Align All Components To Grid" under the "Edit" menu. If the grid alignment is not selected, all components can be arbitrarily positioned to a resolution of one screen pixel.
Hint: for fine-tuning the location of a selected component on the DrawingBoard, it can be moved in small increments using the arrow keys on (the computer's keyboard). The increment is determined by the grid size (or one pixel if grid alignment is not activated).
