2.23-- Saving to an audio file

In the examples discussed so far, the audio output has been routed only to an output device (soundcard). In order to save the output to a file, simply drag an output WAV file component from the Output Audio Files category of the Component Library and connect it up in place of the output device, as illustrated in Figure 17. When the DrawingBoard is played, the output data will now be routed to this output file.

Figure 17 Screenshot demonstrating how to save the processed audio to a WAV file, in this case a new 24-bit stereo file called "New24ste.wav". The name of the output file can be changed by double-clicking on the filename located below the file icon. This will open a dialog box via which the filename can be changed.

Important note: all the "save" functionality of WaveWarp is disabled in the demo version. You must purchase a registered version to be able to route the output to a WAV file.
