3.6-- Saving your Host Application Project

As with a conventional DirectX plugin, if you save your entire audio editor/sequencer application project while the WaveWarp DirectX Interface is selected as your active plugin, then the WaveWarp DirectX Interface will be restored as the active plugin whenever you re-open your saved project. Moreover, WaveWarp will automatically boot-up (if it is not already running), and the DrawingBoard which was selected at the time you saved your project, will automatically load, thereby allowing you to continue working where you left off.

Important: the parameter settings (slider values etc) of the individual components on the DrawingBoard will NOT be saved as part of your editor/sequencer. Rather, the values stored in the DrawingBoard file will be used. It is therefore important to remember to use the "Save As" button inside the WaveWarp DirectX Interface to save your DrawingBoard whenever you wish to store (for later re-use) all the component parameter settings. See sections 3.5.1--and 3.5.6-- for more information on saving the WaveWarp plugin settings.
