3.8-- Step-by-step instructions on using WaveWarp as a DirectX plugin with some popular DirectX host applications

There are generally a variety of methods of accessing DirectX plugins from within a given audio editor/sequencer application, and it is expected that you will have familiarity with your own application(s) in this regard. However, as a general guide, we provide in the following sections some simple step-by-step instructions for getting started with WaveWarp's DirectX plugin functionality in combination with some popular audio editor/sequencer applications. Once you have gained familiarity with the WaveWarp DirectX Interface, it is expected that you will use it in the particular mode of operation best suited to your editor/sequencer application, not necessarily as described here. Consult the help/documentation provided with your editor/sequencer for a complete treatment of DirectX plugin utilization.

Before starting to experiment with WaveWarp's DirectX plugin functionality, please ensure that your audio editor/sequencer application is correctly installed and fully functional with other (i.e. non-WaveWarp) DirectX plugins. Then make sure that WaveWarp is correctly installed and registered.
