6.1-- Adjusting the DrawingBoard visual attributes |

Right-clicking on any blank region of the DrawingBoard will activate a menu (Figure 72) containing a "Properties" option which enables the visual attributes of the DrawingBoard to be adjusted. Note, the same menu is available via the "DrawingBoard Properties" selection from the main "Edit" menu.

6.1.1-- Changing the DrawingBoard size |

The "Size..." option opens a dialog box (Figure 73) which facilitates re-sizing of the DrawingBoard via user-specified dimensions (in units of pixels). A DrawingBoard can be any size. If it is larger than the screen, scroll bars will automatically appear on the right and bottom edges of the DrawingBoard to enable navigation beyond the screen boundaries.

Hint: if it is desired only to re-size the DrawingBoard within the dimensions of the screen, this is easily achieved by dragging its edges (in the conventional Windows manner).
6.1.2-- Changing the DrawingBoard background color |

The "Background Color..." option opens a dialog box which enables the background color of the DrawingBoard to be changed via a user-selectable palette (Figure 74).

6.1.3-- Adjusting the DrawingBoard alignment grid |

The DrawingBoard alignment grid allows the components to be located according to a regular pattern on the DrawingBoard. By selecting the "Snap to grid" option, all components are automatically snapped (aligned) to the grid pattern. The "Show grid" option makes the grid visible, and the "Grid Size..." option opens a dialog box (Figure 75) which facilitates re-definition of the grid spacing via user-specified dimensions (in units of pixels).
