6.2-- Adjusting the layout of the desktop |

|
The WaveWarp desktop comprises a set of "dockable" windows: the main ("Standard") Window containing the utility, edit, and display buttons, the Transport Window, the Component Library, and the Messages Window. A "dockable" window is one which can be dragged (via the "docking" bar on its left-hand edge) and "docked" (i.e. "connected") to other "dockable" windows.
By default (as evident in Figure 1), the Standard Window, the Transport Window, and the Component Library are "docked" together at the top of the WaveWarp program window, and the Messages Window is docked to the bottom of the WaveWarp program window.
6.2.1-- Re-sizing or relocating dockable windows |

|
In order to re-size or re-locate any dockable window, you must first "undock" it. This can be done by dragging on its "docking" bar (the vertical lines on its left-hand edge) or by double-clicking on its "docking" bar. Once undocked, the window can be moved or re-sized in the conventional click-and-drag manner.
