The "Default sample-rate for signal generators" dialog box is for setting the default sample rate of
signal generators and ASCII input files. This is the default sample rate which appears in the "Enforce sample-rate on downstream component" dialog box (see section 8.1.2-- and Figure 83).
If "Create Backup DrawingBoard file" is selected, a backup DrawingBoard file will automatically be created for the DrawingBoard which is being edited. The backup file will have the same name as the original file, except with the extension ".bak" instead of ".dwb". The backup file is automatically updated to contain the previously saved version (i.e. one version before the most recently saved version) of the DrawingBoard which is being edited, and can be used to restore the DrawingBoard accordingly.
If "Auto-save Active DrawingBoard" is selected, the active DrawingBoard is automatically saved at routine intervals.
If "Designate WaveWarp as the default WAV player" is selected, then whenever a file with a ".wav" extension is double-clicked within Windows Explorer, WaveWarp will automatically open and create a simple DrawingBoard (like the one in Figure 18) ready-made for playing the file.
If "Hide Parameter Window for inactive DrawingBoards" is selected, then all Parameter Windows of all open DrawingBoards are hidden except for those pertaining to the active DrawingBoard. This helps to reduce screen clutter when working with multiple DrawingBoards simultaneously.
If "Suppress auto-loading of Welcome Example DrawingBoards" is selected, then the Example "Welcome" DrawingBoard(s) will not load automatically each time WaveWarp is started.
